Article 17. Responsibilities of the Administrative and Financial Directorate:
The Administrative and Financial Directorate is responsible for coordinating administrative, financial, public information, information technology, and tax auditing services that by law correspond to INGUAT, in support of the development and execution of institutional programs and projects. Its responsibilities are:

Plan, organize, direct, execute, and supervise the provision of administrative services, public information, information technology, and auditing functions.

Advise senior authorities and their departments on administrative and financial matters.

Plan, coordinate, and manage the financial resources of the Institution.

Propose policies and strategies within its area of competence to improve the collection and rational use of resources.

Ensure the rational and transparent use of the Institute’s resources.

Coordinate and lead the consolidation of the institution’s general income and expenditure budget.

Periodically verify the behavior of tax revenues, issue reports, and take appropriate corrective measures.

Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Public Information Unit.

Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation Unit.

Coordinate and supervise the institution’s tax auditing activities.
-
Coordinate, integrate, and execute the Directorate’s budget to achieve optimal resource performance.

Archive and safeguard documentation related to the department.

Ensure compliance with government control regulations.

Ensure compliance with institutional standards and policies.
-
Consolidate and approve work reports, operational plans (annual and multi-annual), budget, procurement plans, achievement of physical goals, and others.
